Some time ago I told you about books and cooking  and one book in particular: Life of Juliet , a walk through the streets and structures of Verona  in which you will be accompanied by a little Giulietta Capuleti . This book is a guide to Veronese restaurants, pastry shops, hotels and bed & breakfasts that have decided to make a dedication to Shakespeare’s heroine. Leafing through the pages of this book, I was immediately intrigued by the recipe for tagliolini alla Giulietta created by the Giulietta e Romeo restaurant, a romantic and sophisticated lobster-based dish perfect for a love story like that of Romeo and Juliet.

If you don’t have the time to take a romantic getaway in Verona, try making it at home with this recipe!

Preparation:

Clean the lobster by cutting the tails in half and then into pieces. Finely chop the carrot, celery and onion and fry them with a drizzle of oil in a pan.

When the sauté is golden, add the lobster and brown it until it turns red. Deglaze with the white wine, let it evaporate and add the cherry tomatoes.

Add salt and pepper to taste, cover and cook for about 10/15 minutes. In the meantime, bring a pot of water to the boil and throw away the tagliolini. After a minute they come to the surface, drain them and sauté them in the pan together with the lobster sauce. Served in two dishes and accompanied with a sparkling wine served chilled!
